The surface of ASUS SmartO Mouse is treated with the new ASUS Antibacterial Guard. This special treatment has been scientifically proven to inhibit bacterial growth3 by over 99% over a 24-hour period to potentially reduce the spread of harmful bacteria via contact.4,5

ASUS SmartO Mouse connects cordlessly in whatever way you prefer, with both 2.4 GHz RF and Bluetooth built right in. With RF 2.4 GHz you’ll enjoy fast, smooth and lag-free responses for uninterrupted productivity, while the Bluetooth mode provides easy wireless connectivity with any compatible device and maximizes battery life. ASUS SmartO Mouse is also able to pair with up to three Bluetooth devices, and switching between them is as simple as pressing a button — perfect for multitasking.

The antibacterial treatment is tested by an independent third-party laboratory according to the ISO 22196 standard (measurement of antibacterial activity on plastics and other non-porous surfaces), using bacterial cultures that include Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus, with an antibacterial activity (R) result of R > 2. R = 2 indicates a 99% reduction in bacterial activity compared to an untreated surface.
The antibacterial treatment is registered by the US EPA and authorized under EU BPR.
